 The Women's Therapy Centre Institute holds a unique place at the intersection of the psychoanalytic community, the feminist community, and the public at large. It presents lectures, workshops, and training examining the damaging effects of the contemporary idealized Body: ultra-thin, hard, toned, young, heterosexual, hypersexual and affluent.

May 15 NYC - Storytelling, Justice and Gender: An Evening With Jennifer Finney Boylan

                     Realize Your Beauty promotes positive body image and eating disorder awareness by way of theatre arts. To meet their ryb_logo_pink.pngmission,they travel to schools, festivals and local theatres to present educational plays, presentations and workshops. They strive to educate children and adolescents about the dangers of dieting and disordered eating. They encourage students to love themselves exactly as they are and to learn the warning signs of an eating disorder. Realize Your Beauty is a not for profit corporation based in Harlem, NYC.

SPARK is a girl-fueled activist movement to demand an end to the sexualization of women and girls in media.

We're collaborating with hundreds of girls 13-22 and more than 60 national organizations to reject the commodified, sexualized images of girls in media and support the development of girls' healthy sexuality and self-esteem.
